Juliette Bekkering graduated in 1989 with honor at the architectural department of the Technical University in Delft, the Netherlands. In 1993 she finalizes a post-graduate education in Urban design at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona.  From 1989 untill 1997 she works with several renowned architectural offices, including OMA, and collaborating in 1995 with Neutelings Riedijk architecten, working as associated project architect on f.i. the Fire station of Maastricht and Breda.
In 1997 she establishes her own office, ir. Juliette Bekkering Architecten in Rotterdam. The office has a diverse portfolio with projects in different scales and complexity.  In 2004-2005 several projects have been completed. To expand the capacity, the office collaborates since January 2005 with Monica Adams under the name Bekkering Adams Architecten. Juliette Bekkering taught and lectured at several  (inter) national architectural institutes, was member of different Quality and Advisory teams and is frequently asked to participate in jury's, master classes and workshops.

Monica Adams has graduated in 1989 with honor at the architectural department of the Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands. She gained international experience working in London. From 1991 she works with Mecanoo architecten, joining Erick van Egeraat in 1995 when he sets up his own office (EEA) Erick van Egeraat associated architects. She worked on several large-scale buildings, such as the FEM in Utrecht, the INHOLLAND Hogeschool in Rotterdam, the City Hall Alphen aan den Rijn and the Royal Dutch Embassy in Warsaw. Since January 2005 Monica Adams collaborates with Juliette Bekkering under the name Bekkering Adams architecten. Monica Adams taught and lectured at (inter) national architectural institutes, was member of Quality and Advisory teams and is frequently asked to participate in jury's, master classes and workshops.
